Hello everybody, well goodbye actually! After nearly 4 years I'm afraid I'm going to have to draw the curtains on Fishbrain as a skate shop.
Unfortunately there has simply not been enough business this past year to keep the place going. Having said that I have been having the best year ever but unfortunately this has nothing to to with the skate shop side of Fishbrain. It means I cannot carry the costs of the shop any longer so I'm afraid I have to close it.
I want to thank all of you who have supported this shop since it opened. You know who you are and believe me, I do to. You are the best, the greatest and I love you.
I've loved it. Hope you have too.
EVERYTHING will be 15% off from this Saturday.

no wayyyy! i passed now aswell, was gonna be my local:(

i drove down tuesday mark to pick up a batch of stuff but you were sadly closed for the day, nevertheless me and max are coming up tomorrow as we need stuff and quite a lot of it, Pay day and all. I thought things were at last were picking up for me.....

well ill hopefully speak tomorrow..... will you still be open at 4?

ok everyone get buying LOTS! spend all your money, mark there must be something we can do to keep it running. Or sell it to someone else still as a skate shop. when are you planning on closing it? arghghh!!!!!!!!!!!

no way. this isn't good. well thankyou mark for running the greatest skateshope ever, organising many events and just being cool.i will miss fishbrain and i'm glad you've loved running it. it really was great. CHEERS MARK and please please keep the forum.

well thanks you lot for the above. I hope I still have some stuff for those of you that want it. I have deliberately not bought much in lately.
Anyway, the new people are due to come in on Dec 1st. I really hope it all goes through otherwise I'm in deep doody. Please don't any of you on this forum feel guilty about the shop closing. You have supported the shop as well as you can. Nothing more you can do about it.
Running this shop has been fantastic for me, make no mistake. It has been such good fun. Doing the competions, going to premieres, meeting the pro's and getting such a positive response to all these things from all of you lot and many more. Opening times will stay the same pretty much but I may be closed the odd day, working out back on my van before I have to give up the garage. I will be open until 5.30 this saturday Mike. don't forget to bring those jeans back!
Fishbrain as a business will still be going though but not in a skateboarding and clothing way. I will be running the VW camping & Leisure stuff from home via eBay and this website.

This Saturday 25th November will be the last day the shop will be open. After that, it will be gone forever!!! If you want some bargains for Christmas then you'd better get here quick. There are quite a few shoes going cheap plus a fair bit of hardware like decks, trucks and bearings. If nothing else, come and say goodbye. Sniff.
