This was our first camping trip in the van. Lee had just finished putting it together so we could get away. We ordered the awning and it arrived on the Tuesday and we went to the lakes on the Wednesday. It rained buckets and was sooo windy,we almost gave up and went home but the awning stood up in all that wind and never moved. So glad we spent the extra and bought the Khyam Motordome Sleeper. Kids slept in the awning bedroom and had tons of room too. I say kids they are aged 13 and 15 and are tall lads.

Yes it's back for the 2nd year! Amazing! Last year a good load of people came and this year there will be a load more. This is a back to basics event. No traders, no security, no running water, one toilet, Glasto style....see what I mean! Yes it's just Dubs, Bands and Beer. Simple as that. £5.00 entry per person. Under 16's Free. Camping over night in this beautiful part of rural Hampshire is free. First band of 3 or 4 will be on at about 7.00. The Beer is from the Local Triple F Brewery, brewer of the Champion Beer of Britain, Alton's Pride. And there will be plenty on tap. We sell that cheap too, normally about £2.00 a pint.. bargain! Everyone who came last year loved it because you are free to do pretty much whatever you want. See you there!

yes the 2 vans on the left are Tonys and Marks. The very same that are being torn apart, ground down, welded up and resprayed in the "marks van" and "Tonys van" sections on this forum.

I guess this is a rust free californian import then? No grinding, cutting or welding??
You could try the pole and clamp to attach the awning? I have Khyam ones. They are £22.00.

As in make it? Naa, some really nice guys in a factory in wolfsburg made the van 40 odd years ago :P The awning is totally great though! Easy to setup, need to find an easier way of attaching it to the van though...guttering is just too fiddly and VERY tight.
