A list of some of the genuine feedback we have received from our customers.
Mark, Hello there. We've just come back from our first camping trip with our new Khyam Motordome Sleeper. All I can say is, 'what a fantastic tent!' We camped at East Fleet, near Weymouth. The weather wasn't on our side. But, I thought that would be a good test for the new tent. Erecting the tent is so easy. As is taking it down. The only tricky bit is lining-up the van. But, I took your advice and used two tent pegs adjacent to the wheels as an aid. Practice will make perfect. Can't wait for our next trip. Woolacombe in August. And, the south of France next year! Cheers, Tim
Hi Mark just want to say a huge thank you for the Motordome Classic we bought from you at this years Vanwest at Brean. We've only tried it on our front lawn and it's brilliant. It has withstood these gales weve had recently with no trouble. I cant wait to try it out with our van very soon. We've debated for ages to get one and now we have, I'm so glad we did and your invaluable advice was very helpful. Many thanks.
Hi Mark, Thanks so much for the fast despatch of our new awning. It arrived on Friday and we managed to get away to Loch Lomond on Friday night. The awning was up within 5 hrs of its delivery! It was really straight forward to put up and fitted the van great. Next time we will ensure that the connecting tunnel section is a bit tighter. We had to take the awning down in a really strong gale but it was fine, and thankfully didnt end up in the Loch! our van and Driveaway awning Thanks again for your great service, Anne and Ted
hi mark, put my navigator awning up yesterday, and thanks for your instructions it went up in no time, any way here are some photos of the navigator on my vw t4, it is a good fit, i even sent a few people your way as it got some interest from other campers, all the best dan
Hi Mark, Just thought I'd mail you a quick message to say thanks for the other week. Our awning came on the Tuesday without the extra strip for the figure of eights if you can remember. Well the strip was at the campsite waiting for us when we arrived on the Wednesday (thanks for posting that out to us). As for the camping????? well the weather on the wed and thurs was really wet and windy. The awning was taking a hammering, I thought it was going to blow away, I couldn't believe that it could withstand that wind as it was so strong but it did. It took 2 days and nights of it and never moved, we were so pleased that we had spent the extra and bought the one with the rapidex system. We had heard good reviews from various people/sites about it and I'm pleased to say they were all true. I would recommend this awning to anyone. Thanks again for posting that strip out to the site for us, without it we would have had to postpone our trip. Thanks Sharon and Lee
Hi Mark Thanks for sending on the storm straps to me. Really good of you, tent is great and no leaks. Many thanks. Brian
Hi Mark! Thanks for the message. I look forward to the champagne! .....and the visuals ..... It was really kind of your brother to carry it to the car. I now realise how heavy it was!.... but no serious carrying needed..... best cup of tea all week... Looking forward to a change in the weather, Suzanne
Hi Mark, Just wanted to let you know I received the tent just now. Thanks for the quick and nice service. Greetings and all the best from Holland, Sammy
Dear Mark I know its been a while since i bought my awning from you but here are the pictures you wanted to see. As you can see it's bright and sunny but it has been tested in torrential rain floods and high winds and came through it all unscathed, It's spot on for our needs. Thanks Colin
Mark, The Navigator is a great awning! It has stood up to rain & F7 winds but luckily mostly sunshine. It's bigger inside than I envisaged with so much headroom. Thanks again Pete
Hi Mark We bought a Kyham awning from you at Vanfest. You asked us to send some pictures to you. We are well chuffed with the awning. Mark
Hi Mark, Thank you SO much for coming over today, sorry I didnt really get to chat my meeting went on for A LOT longer than I had anticipated! I understand from the guys that you showed them it could be a hell of a lot easier to use the awning your way. Wish we had taken your advice from the start. Did you get a chance to look at any of the buses? What did you think? I loved the colour of yours. Anyway thanks again for your time, Cheers, Anne
Hi Mark: The Motordome Tourer is as good as we expected and here it is attached to our Eriba. It got its first (of many) outings last week and we loved it. Many thanks for your great service. Chris
Mark Just a quick word to say the Navigator XL awning arrived safe and sound at lunch time yesterday, thanks for a fantastic service. Thanks Terry
Dear Mark, we are delighted with the Movelight awning, I managed to put it up single handed despite the stiff breeze. No photos as the weather was poor and I forgot! by the way, figure of eights don't fix securely to ford transit gutters. My partner is planning to put some rubber strip in as your website describes for some VW vans. Lynne
Hi, hope you like the photos of the Motordome Classic awning attached to our VW T5, we are very happy with it and will be even more so when we receive the groundsheet this week. We took the awning to Switzerland where we had torrential rain but we were nice and dry and cosy inside. It was nice to meet you in person at the Vanfest, it was a good weekend apart from the mud!! Many Thanks Marian
Hi Mark, straps arrived today, many thanks for prompt super fast service, as ever, will send you some pictures of the awning on my mazda bongo, it looks like a great weekend ahead happy easter regards dave
Dear Mark,
Here's a picture of the Navigator Awning attached to our T25 "Eric The Viking" at a campsite near Hadrian's Wall. We must have chosen the coldest and windiest place in England to stay at this Easter. Everywhere else was bathed in sunshine apart from the campsite. The awning is excellent - loads of space.
Thanks, Andrew
Thank you Thank you!! Please thank your collegue for delivering it for us! We had it up the other day and it is WONDERFUL. Going camping near Oxford on bank holiday weekend so will enter the competition!! Hope you had a fun and successful trip to Oswestry. Best Wishes Susanne
Hi Mark, Just a quick email to say we tried our new Navigator we bought @ bus types at the weekend & Its vast!!!
Great fun, Thanks Mark.
Thanks for sending me a superb awning. I used it this weekend down in dorset... what a relief to have it. Its watertight, windproof and very spacious! Also, I got in touch with Grant, who you suggested might help with a restoration... i'm off to see him next week. Thanks for putting me onto him. Hope all's well with you.
Tom
Hi Mark
Many thanks for all your help. The awning arrived yesterday and tomorrow is pencilled in for a practice putting up session to avoid arriving somewhere and looking like complete idiots! We may still manage that anyway... As I said to you on the phone, cheers for letting us have one, when they are so sought after - looking forward to using it (in spite of rubbish weather forecast for next few days!)
Best wishes
Jo
Dear Mark
Just to let you know that the awning was fab - we were really pleased with it! We had to do a bit of a "make do" job re fixing it to the van for the first day or so as we did need the pole and clamps, but I got on the phone to Eurotech who sent one to us on-site in Cornwall! Very impressed with the service! Thanks again for letting us have one of the few you had in stock - we were happy campers! Am attaching some photos of the awning in action! Hope they get to you ok.
Best wishes
Jo
Hi mark , attached pics of your Nomad 3 on our 63 split " Dylan " . The awning is superb , could just do with another 30 " figure of 8 strip if you have any . Cheers John and Tracey .
